3D Scanning
The reasons for using 3D scanning are diverse, usually it is to visualize the as-built situation of an object. All scans made are linked to one or more models, using reference points or other linking techniques. The model comes with free viewer software that allows you to view, measure and export scans. We also provide training to learn how to use the viewer software optimally and thus get the most out of your scan data. With the scan model you have the cheapest form of very valuable information. However, the scans are just like crude oil, you must be able to refine it to extract the valuable information. Naturally, after so many years of experience, we have mastered this process like no other and have seen all the potential pitfalls.
Laser scanning advice
Our first digital 3D scanner from iQ-sun from 2004 cost a fortune but sometimes had some teething problems. He is now enjoying his retirement in our museum. We are now several scanner generations further and quality and accuracy have made great strides forward. Thanks to our years of experience with 3D scanning, we have seen all the pitfalls and learned a lot from them.

Use of scanner: Have you purchased a scanner but do you have no experience in preparing a scanning project or processing the scans in a model? You can also contact us for these questions in the form of a professional training for beginners/advanced users or telephone support.
Modeling with point clouds: point clouds are large and difficult to read for the uninitiated. With experience and the right tools, we will help you create the right and efficient workflow.
Favorable price/quality ratio
We therefore dare to say that we know what we can do and can offer it at a good price-quality ratio. We would be happy to provide you with tailor-made advice on what you want to map out. Process installation, Factory, Building or Product or Land and Infrastructure. Call or email us for a no-obligation appointment, demo or quote.
Ergo-Design B.V. (ED) – founded in 1991 – provides Industrial Engineering services. In concrete terms, this means: ‘designing and optimizing production and logistics processes for industry’. By using innovative tools such as 3D scanning and logistics simulations, we support our projects and provide tailor-made services to our customers.
3D scanning emerged as a service within ED because our customers often did not have their drawings ‘up to date’ and we therefore had to measure them. Since we have continued to develop this as a specialty, we have been offering this as a service to third parties for more than 15 years, from our Ergo Design 3DLS division. We believe in good service and personal contact. That is why we would like to meet you without obligation. Are you interested? Let us know?
